The Inspired Conference answers these questions and helps believers build their confidence in God's Word through the teachings of Bible scholar and archeologist Dr. Scott Carroll (inspiredexhibit.org), Pastor David Wojnicki, and Gospel Legacy Founder John Wojnicki.
Along with outstanding teaching, those attending the Inspired Conference can view a captivating exhibit showcasing rare biblical manuscripts and ancient artifacts related to the Scriptures. Many pieces in this exhibit are so rare that they are rarely seen outside a museum. THE EXHIBIT
At each Inspired Conference, those in attendance will get an up-close look at unique artifacts and biblical manuscripts that are part of the much larger Inspired Exhibit (inspiredexhibit.org).
Each item brought to the conference is specifically selected to help reinforce the message of the conference for those who attend. Numerous artifacts in this exhibition are exceedingly rare, seldom displayed beyond the confines of a museum. This unique exhibit will enrich your experience and provide a tangible connection to the history and significance of God's Word.
CONFERENCE SESSIONS
SESSION 1 - The Reliability of God's Word
Through a captivating multimedia presentation of vivid images and ancient artifacts, Dr. Scott Carroll embarks on a riveting journey into the realm of historical and archaeological discoveries, unveiling a tapestry of evidence that lends unparalleled credibility to the reliability and authenticity of the Bible.
SESSION 2 - The Necessity of God's Word
Expanding upon the groundwork established in the first session, Pastor David Wojnicki delves deeper into the profound significance of the word of God. With vivid illustrations and insightful exploration of scripture, he illuminates how the Bible provides profound answers to life's most fundamental questions.
SESSION 3 - How God's Word Came to Us
In this session, Dr. Scott Carroll delves into the crucial questions surrounding the composition and canonization of the Bible. With scholarly precision and historical insight, Dr. Carroll provides comprehensive answers to those probing whether the Bible indeed comprises the correct books.
SESSION 4 - God's Word for Today
In the conference's concluding session, Bible teacher John Wojnick delivers captivating insights into the essential role of Scripture in believers' lives. Believers are challenged and encouraged to translate their newfound knowledge into practical application.
THE SPEAKERS:
Dr. Scott Carroll
Executive Director of INSPIRED Exhibit
Dr. Carroll, organized one of the largest private biblical collections in North America in the 1990s. He then helped establish the core collection, initial exhibitions, and vision for what now forms the Museum of the Bible, in Washington, D.C. His training has focused on the ancient world, ancient manuscripts, and the history of the Bible.
He has held academic posts at various institutions, including Gordon College and Baylor University. Dr. Carroll’s recent project is the INSPIRED Exhibit, an international traveling exhibition featuring ancient manuscripts, scrolls, and Bibles rarely seen outside museums.
David Wojnicki
Lead Pastor
Valley Center Community Church
David Wojnicki has served in full-time pastoral ministry for twenty-one years. David is the Lead Pastor at Valley Center Community Church (VCCC) in Valley Center, California. It is David's passion to see the lives of men and women transformed through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
David received his undergraduate degree in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois and his master's degree at Reformed Theological Seminary. Along with his ministry in the local church, David has been blessed with the opportunity to speak at various conferences and retreats.
John Wojnicki
Bible Teacher
Gospel Legacy Founder
John spent his entire professional career traveling globally as a sales executive developing vertical markets in the entertainment and hospitality segments. John has served in various ministries in the local church. For eighteen years, he served as a teaching elder in the church and as an adult education leader and teacher for thirty years.
John is an elder and the Director of Adult Education at Valley Center Community Church. Beyond his work in the church, John has spoken at numerous family and youth retreats and was the Chairman of a Private Christian Education organization for fifteen years that served over 750 families in the San Diego area.
